hello all
I want to build sealed speaker with this items
1. Dayton Audio DS315-8 12" Designer
2. Goldwood GM-65/8 Sealed Back 5-1/4" Midrange 8 Ohm
3. HiVi Q1R 1-1/8" Textile Dome Tweeter
I have already have them .
The box is gone be 37X30X70 cm and will get it soon .
The question is about the crossover .
The woofer has a peek on 1KHZ-2KHZ and have to terminate it and crossed about 600-700HZ .
what else we have to take care of ?

Lojzek I have some knowledge in speaker design but not like a PRO .
That's why I come here sometime for some questions .

Could you get together the response files, do you have some experience using Xsim, would you like to begin using it?
The dayton has files . I succed to claculate the best cross for it .
The mid and tweeter don't . I will search google may there is somewhere .

PE holds graphs of fr and impedance for the other two drivers. Need tracing software (fprawn labs and others...) to make frd's and zma's off these.
Then the next thing to do is applying baffle step and diffraction response to traced files. While doing that, you can add enclosure loading response (reflex loaded). There is multiple software solutions to choose from. Use search function of this forum. If you would like additional help in simulating crossover, make a drawing of the baffle, clearly showing driver positions and their respective coordinates (x,y) beginning with a point of origin (lower left corner). Example, baffle is 37 cm wide, and 70 cm high. Tweeter positioned in the middle and 60 cm from the floor= Tw(18.5; 60)...etc.
All zma and frd files taken from picture . excpet tweeter imepdence that i could not take , so it calculated as 8 ohm .
Attach the .dxo file so we can analyze the circuit and driver files because it contains all the information.
Did you engage hilbert transform in XSim for phase calculation of the files that don't contain phase data? It appears you did not.
