Configure the slave as master! This is a brilliant idea!
Since I am using analogue XLR daisy chain, my pre amp is the only limitation, and i don't need two additional long spdif cables, for each left and right channels.
Moreover, I will have 3 presets by 3 presets configurations, total of nine configurations, in stead of three.

Installed two FA253 - worked perfectly fine for days but today suddenly one plate amp goes to protection (even without signal or after a reboot, or after USB reconfig, changing preset). The red leds blinks very fast, sound still goes through but completely distorted. Nothing was done, it came by it's own. The plate amp is neither hot nor was it shocked by anything.
I will call support tomorrow but my studio production is now set to offline ;-(
Anybody with a similar problem?

Have you power it down, remove the power cable, and retry after few mins?
Afterall it was a computer with special feature!
yes tried that many times without success. Even without any thing connected it trips to protection. Will call you guys....

connectet indput cable and turn it on.
tried to get some sound with aome test on youtube. but no sound a all.
so what have i done wrong??

I already have a good active crossover, so I just want to try a few of non-plate OEM versions, ie. NC252MP. If I contact them, can I buy them? Maybe minimum order requirement...

could be the start up volume set too low, especially for low frequency.
I've experienced this many times!
You may temporary set to 300Hz, e.g.
Check the volume setting at the top bar in the filter. What is the value?
Mine was set to -6dB and gain set to 13dB in the filter. And start up volume to -6dB under device setting, If I set it too low, e.g. -40dB, barely heard anything.
The volume at the main page was -6dB, I suspect it was corresponding to top bar of the filter and device setting(???), for every presets.

Btw, good to test analogue RCA or XLR before digital. Easier this way.

The gain of the filter is 0dB
According to the given link and my setting, it should be at least 10dB, depending on the gain of your amp.The gain of the filter is 0dB
I tired to do as the guide, and still No sound.
Tried to turn the volumen op to max, and still No sound or wibration from My sub.
Any suggestion fore what to try next? 😊

Are you able to try analogue input in stead of digital? And set to higher frequency for troubleshoot.
From my experiences, there were sound but too soft to detect.
And set volume start up to -3dB from device settings screen. Watch up your source volume when play.
i have a matantz sr7012 and its only have digital output for subwoofer, if not then i have no idea how to connect it as analog.
i just tried with a lowpass filter at 200hz and 300 hz and still no sound or vibration.

when i power my sub of it wake a small clik, so there are okay connection to the subs..

Have you checked the SPDIF LFE/SUB settings in the reciver? You might have to turn it on?

Had a look at the Marantz SR7012. I can't fint other than subwoofer analog out in the "pre out" section? maybe the picture I am looking at is wrong....

use the any of the front rca under pre out section.
what is the value of "volume at start" under device setting?
i set the volume to 0dB at the main screen. "volume at start" under device setting" to no configured". 13dB for gain under filter preset.
