1 of the driverboards have defective transistors on it .

The following transistors are defective on it

C3503
C1027
A1023
A1381

Does anyone know of a good replacement for these since 1 is obsolete and the others are hard to source

What's the rail voltage in this amp?

That seems low. It may be right. What are the rail caps rated for?

75 volts

I know that these are larger but the KSA1220A and the KSC2690A may work. The voltage should be OK. They may run hotter, however. You'd have to try them to know how much hotter.

So the 1220 and 2690 would work for the A1381 and the 3503

Would the 3228 and 1275 work in place of the A1023 and C1027 ?

Or should I replace them all with the 1220’s and 2690’s ?

The 3228 and the 1275 are slower than the 1220/2690? You could try them if you have them. Subs in class D amps don't always act as expected.

I'd try the 1220/2690 in all locations where the originals failed.

Remember to check the low-value resistors connected to these transistors.

I’m 2 transistors short for the 2nd driverboard .

Would the C2682-y work in place of the 2690?

Maybe. The current rating is very low but it's a very fast transistor.

I found 2 2690’s out of a junk board I had I’m gonna solder then in and see if this amp finally works correctly

I don’t get this amp .

I replaced all of the outputs and replaced the transistors on the audio driverboards .

When trying to power the amp up it will draw excessive current and the outputs get hot

Do all of the outputs get hot equally?

Did you confirm that the drive signal was good before you installed the outputs?

I took the outputs back out of the amp .

If I touch the gate pad for the output I don’t get any drive signal at all this is for all of the outputs .

And yes they all heat up at the same time

Scope is set to 2us 20volts/div

This is what I get on the 640’s and 9640’s

Any other setting will not lock on to a drive signal

The high side has driver issues. It should be square like the low-side. Are all high-side banks the same?

Yes all high side banks are the same.

I will go back and check the drivers again .

There is a 3-pin connector on the board from post 20. What do the 2 drive signals look like there?

Scope settings are 2us 2volts/div

But here is what I get on the 3 pin connector
