Hi
I'm going to use passive preamp. It means signal slackening by 10...20dB. That's why I want to control full PGA2310 dynamic range. You were right when you said about CD-player with 2v output. 3 years ago I made DAC on CS8416&CS4391A for CD-ROM and I have 1.98v output on it. But in any time I can make volume lower. Thank you danzup for PCB layout. I already made my PCB. Thank you again for the soft and for your help ![]() |

Hi
Thank you danzup for soft - I compiled it with no error. Perfect! ![]() I have a favour to ask of you to add last feature to this beautiful preamp controller - balance control. Without balance control we have perfect device. But with balance control it will be brilliant!!! Can you add this feature please? |

As you read in this thread I have done by the years a lot of type of controller :
- volume with specialized IC like PGA 2310 , 2311 , 4311 - volume with alps potentiometer and motor (like blue velevet) - volume with R/2R resistor attenuator (R/2R ladder ) - volume with shunt type attenuator - volume with TDA7318 etc. I have only kit for R/2R type volume/attenuator and for alps motor potentiometer . For the rest I have posted schematics , pcb , firmware and I will provide support . If in the future will be more than 10 request I will provide more kit. It will be help if you say what kit would you like !
