That's what it was ! Thank youI think you need to press the Connect button (at second 46) first, then you can upload the changes.
that's what it was! Many thanks 👍👍👍That is indeed the issue. The three buttons on the bottom are about which screen you select.
So now you have already selected the right screen, you just need to connect and upload 🙂
Hi Jesse, I just examined the R24 on my bricked AIO4CH. If the position and size is the same on the AIO 438, then it is a very small resistor and there are a few more resistors and a header close-by. I probably can solder it with my ultra fine tip, a very calm hand and tweezers. But I don't have the right resistor and I'm not willing to order one and pay for the shipping and all the hassle. Maybe you can send one. Actually I'm not satisfied with this solution anyway. I don't tell my customers to fix my boomboxes themselves. See the pic, blue LED is about right in brightness over left driver, green LED is barely visible over right driver.@subkultur There is indeed a bug in how the DSP of dynamic EQ high level filter 2 is handled in V2.0.0. It will be patched in the upcoming release.
On the dimmed led: Mm, okay, maybe the change was made later then. Dimming a LED can indeed be done by adding resistance inline, but increasing the brigtness can only be done by lowering the resistance of R24 to about 100 ohms. It's practically impossible to destroy the amp in this fashion, because the resistor is not near any critical circuitry. Type of solder also does not really matter, although I would recommend lead-free because that's also what's used on the amp. You are free to try, with a full refund if you somehow magically manage to brick it.
Your LED problems aside, that is a nice looking piece of equipment, well done. I think I recognise the drivers, but what are the tweeters, if you don't mind me asking?Hi Jesse, I just examined the R24 on my bricked AIO4CH. Unsure how the green LED lights; one would think its driven by an open collector device pulling to ground to light it. If so, you could pull one of the two LED wires from the harness (the right one) wire a 100 Ohm leaded part to that wire, then find somewhere on the board where 3.3V (I assume) is that's actually physically connectable, for making a new connection via a normal, human handle-able wire.
A possible rework to get your product out the door.

The status led is a bicolor (red/green) led with two pins. Internally they are wired in parallel in opposite directions. So if you give one side 3.3V and the other side GND, it will give a certain color and vice versa.
@subkultur I can send you the needed resistor, and you can apply the fix. It's also fine with me to send the board back at no cost, and I can apply it. I will sent you an email.

Update for the configtool: the new installer will be available via zoudio.com/configtool around midnight.
Hi Jesse, okay thanks! Please send it to me, I try to fix it myself then. Will the LEDs be on the same level of brightness afterwards? Could you post a pic? Right now it's invisible in the actual box (I have no pic of the actual box because the customer lives nearby and he has the box at the moment. But the blue plastic strip in the actual box is 3 mm thick vs. 1 mm shown in the last pic)The status led is a bicolor (red/green) led with two pins. Update configtool: Its past midnight, but unfortunately I did not manage to finish the release.
An external developer has worked on the back-end to improve the code and make it easier to add new features in the future.
It's taking more time than expected to merge this work with the addition of the new features.
The release date will be moved to wednesday evening.

The new configtool is finished. Loading and saving is enabled again.
I did not have any boards left to test it on, but I just finished a small assembly run.
So tomorrow I can verify the configtool and release it, and also ship some open orders.

ZOUDIO configuration tool V2.1.0 available now via www.zoudio.com/configtool
No updates to the onboard firmware needed.
Main changes compared to V2.0.0:
Release of new AIO4CH and AIO438 firmware is postponed to next weekend.
No updates to the onboard firmware needed.
Main changes compared to V2.0.0:
- Program now uses an installer. This makes sure all files are unpacked before running, and adds an (optional) desktop icon.
- Save/load/reset buttons are enabled. Importing from savefiles exported from V1.x.x versions is supported.
- There was a bug in the dynamic EQ. It's fixed now.

Bitdefender and Malwarebytes didn't find anything but Norton power eraser didn't like it for some reason. Probably some false positive but yeah, worth mentioning. Anyway, after installation, the app opens and seems to work. But after closing and opening again, it doesn't open. Tried the shortcut, went to the installer folder, rebooted the system, reinstalled the app, same story. Anyone else with this issue?

Maybe something to do with your anti virus putting the program in quarantine?
I will look into this, probably something to do with how the executable is signed. Content of the program is nothing special.
Did not have this issue on any local PC's, but I will try to install Avast and/or Norton to see if I can replicate (and solve) the issue.

Did you also test it on Windows 10 systems or just 11? (My PCs run on W10 so maybe that's where the issue is)
