RC5 Tester

For long time Read here all Thread about RC5 and do experiment to Learnig,
but I Flash your RC5 Tester and to start programm coming only ( RC5 Remote Read) and Display go out, I have with 3 Remote controller (Sony,Terratec and Sharp) and Do nothing, I only do other LCD configuration,
Config Lcdpin = Pin , Db4 = Portc.4 , Db5 = Portc.5 , Db6 = Portc.6 , Db7 = Portc.7 , E = Portc.2 , Rs = Portc.3
and PortD.3 ist the output from my SFH5110 and chance to experiment with TSOP 1738 and no go, please can you say why? I have all in my STK500.

Hi STK500

If te Lcd show "RC5 Remote Read" then you lcd is setup OK

This code only works with Philips RC-5 Protocol
Sony , Sharp, RCA ect do not work with this code

did you program it as INT 8Mhz CLKDIV/8 = off else it runs 1 Mhz
how did you connect the IR ? pullup 10K ?
If you look at Bascom Hep serach for "GETRC5"
you can learn more about the IR part
Here is Sam Bergmans web lots of good info about Remote IR Protocol

Thank you for you Info, Well I think one RC for (Sony,Terratec and Sharf) maybe work, I see the signal in my Oscillocope in the output of IR, but maybe you know Who find one Send RC5(Philips protocoll) to tester Software and Hardware?
My plan ist to control Led with music for my living hall with RGBW led, when in finish my project coming here in forum, open source. but with you name in the Source Programm.

but to get the full storry you have to read the hole Thread lots of addon is made for Danzups controller 1.6C

I just completed building the latest Rev 2.1.b.

After I apply power, the LED reads "10", and I can adjust the volume up or down. So it seems to work. I am using the R2R settings.

My problem is: After about 5 sec, one of the relays clicks, and the LED goes off.

If I recycle power, it does the same thing again.

Has anyone experienced this, or know what might be the problem?
