I received the same quote from our local rep.
I have 3 pieces I received as samples. I hereby volunteer to test one of the boards.

I really want to give this a shot! Are the plans (schematics, pcbs, hex, obj-c stuff, etc.) on the site yet?
That would be for extreme DIYers!
This would be great for jaya000, who's making an amp for his lazy friend! Lol!

I am also interested in a posible group buy if it will be for the WM8816GEDW/V WOLFSN and the veterans board.
I think that it won't be possible to import WM8816 chips from abroad in reasonable price (tax, fee ans shipment costs have to be included). So, I can support you with (assembled and tested if you want) driver and stamp boards, but you have to order WM's yourself or maybe make some small GB.
Good news is that I finished relay volume control (-57.6 ... 0dB) 😉
Happy New Year everyone!

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Yes but when this man gives a compliment I jump on that product.
If Upupa says the relay version is as good as the Wolfson I'll switch, if not I'll stick with begging for the original to be completed.
What about the mas-oy MAS9116; has anyone tried to source them instead? They are identical to the WM8816 I think.
You can use them interchangeably. I forgot to place a picture of working relay volume control:

Are you implying that the Winstamp doesn't work and you are not persuing it any further?
EDIT: Some of us have been waiting for over a year for you to complete this preamp... Should we give up the ghost?
"My WMSTAMP is working fine."
So when will it be avilable for purchase?
The Wolfson chip could be a seperate GB for those of us who who buy the Winstamp.
Does the relay preamp do everything the winstamp does except gain?

There is no support of selector in relay volume control but this can be fixed quite soon (software is in develop stage and I'm still adding some new options).
OK, so let's focus on the WMSTAMP project, then. There is a lot of interest, will you be selling boards for the WMSTAMP?veteran said:Not at all. My WMSTAMP is working fine. Relay volume control is another project 😉
Your relay volume control project should perhaps be in a new thread to avoid further confusion.

Good idea, and if anything becomes concrete, please start a thread in Market Place to keep this thread strictly technical. 🙂
