I watched the video's but did not hear any news about the V-fet SE amplifier. I do hope it is coming.
Circuits are still being designed, with several candidates. They all
occupy 4 TO-3 holes per channel on a bar which fits on the larger sinks
in the store.
I have a couple things to wrap up, and then you can expect kits early 2019.
Last news 😀

I forget about the promise of early 2019. Thanks for the reminder. I was hoping for some info at the BAF 2018 but I will use patience. I have been looking forward to the circuit and kit for some time now.

The design for the new DIYaudio VFET kits uses one VFET per channel.
The N channel and P channel VFETs have separate artwork, and slightly
different performance.
Each channel goes onto a bar similar to last time which holds 4 TO-3
devices and mounts on the DIYaudio store heat sink hole pattern.
The output stage is a follower, and has a socket for different front ends.
Availability should be March or so.....

Of these 4 TO-3 parts, how manny are Vfets? (In parallel?)
Thanks

Is there a simplified schematic? 🙂

No. It's going to be a surprise.

Merry Christmas to Papa and all you followers, and thank you for both entertainment and sharing of knowledge.
Great News!
The magazine page attached looks like an SIT amp with an output transformer. Are you going to make one like that? 🙂
