We perhaps go to Mars to survive and our scientists invent teleportation to spread the boredom and covid through all the universe ?

I can stop to laugh yet when they say aiport and plane were safe places thanks to the cooling system... it was to kill me by laughing !

year 2130 : "No, we reassure you : ou last teleportation technology do not transport cv-19 virus"

Sometimes, especially sufferers of cancer, people know when they will die. I know of quite some people, even from my locality who knew their days were counted, and the count was nearing zero. There are people who give up, and there are those who accept their condition and continue with their life until the very last second. These are an inspiration.

I've asked a few people if they would accept £100,000 if they had to let themselves be killed in 30 years time. You'd have the money to spend, with no worries, and no need to work (hence free to travel etc), but you would have that date on the calendar, getting one day closer.

There was an advert on British TV for guide dogs for the blind, it told the story of a young lady who had unexpected health problems, that resulted in her loosing her sight, but I was struck by how positive she was. I checked on the internet, and she is a real person, she got depressed when she lost her sight (totally understandable), but she pulled herself out of it. Stacy Percival is her name, check out "Stacey and Toffee" youtube
I sometimes think of her, her spirit is an inspiration.

Imagine counting down the days, if you had many years ahead you might procrastinate and do nothing with your life, if you had a short time you might just give up. Somethings are best not known.

Aside:
Possibility is based on conceivability, based on previous experience. In a determined world, however, there is no possibility, but only conceivability, based on previous experience;-) A non-determined world would not even be noise only;-)

... what is misunderstood in mathematics, physics, sociology, psychology and so on;-)

Supposing you found out that you were a clone of yourself, (and you met the real you, and the lack of a belly-button revealed yourself as the fake) would you then not worry about dying (knowing that all of your memories, up the the cloning would live on), or would the cloned you have self-awareness, and therefore fear death?
