I used Green LEDs at 2.1v, supplies are sitting at approx +/- 18.
I will complete the PCB this weekend then wait for the case I ordered to turn up.

Built my whammy a few weeks ago and I'm really enjoying it. I've added an ODAC into the case and have been streaming from Tidal. Basically, I'm very happy with my first DIYAudio project 🙂
I'm thinking of adding a second headphone jack to allow two listeners. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm planning to use HD6XX and Grading SR325e together. Anything I need to consider?

Happy Labor Day to everyone here in the U.S..
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to using Schottky 1A diodes in place of the 1N4004 diodes as rectifiers?
I have quite a few of them is why I'm asking.
Thanks.

I used UF (ultra fast) ones. Doubt I could hear a difference but they're only a few cents more 😉Happy Labor Day to everyone here in the U.S..

Yes, it was the LED that created this challenge, the circuit will function well without them as well...nJoy
Is it OK to take the o/p from the headphone socket internally to RCA out on the rear panel? I have a larger case that will accomodate them. Or is there a better way to get output via RCA.
I like to buy a second PCB for this. I really like the green boards. Anyone has a green board available?
Thanks
Thanks
Optocoupler
I am returning to this project ( after a really long layoff and just have a few caps and heat sinks to order from Mouser in order to complete the WHAMMY .
Rev. 3 PCB / config. 1 .... I already have the 15V PS
In checking over my mostly stuffed PCB I see that I installed the 4N35 Optocouplers with the lettering in the same direction as the PCB lettering; but the dot on the OC isn't facing the notch. 😱
Thanks for the excellent illustrated guide , it is definitely helpful !
