Visaton B200 upgrade

Yes, the highs are less strenuous on the axis, and it seems as if the high-frequency energy is distributed somewhat better throughout the room. At high volumes, the speaker compresses a little less, and the dynamics also seem somewhat improved. Overall, a slightly more relaxed sound is noticeable.

Why should I coat the cones? The TSP changes, the upper frequency limit drops, and the transient response deteriorates! Just for the sake of slightly better internal damping?

Besides, the products are questionable; the best internal damping is achieved with shellac! Nevertheless, I'll forgo a coating on this very lightweight paper cone!

more important than maybe some resonances is overall linearity and loudspeaker positioning
