Hi Mark,
I do iron transfer so I need mirror silk and straight bottom. Looks like you have mirror bottom and straight silk.
Thanks, Terry
So?

R19=10kR ----> please fitt 4,7kR instead, it will better split the power dissapation in CCS.

Ok Borys. Have you check your email box?
Marc
I have checked Marc.
Very nice board, shielded top, symetric layout, You are master of eagle!!
I can only make a boards for thermotransfer.
Regards

Ready to do some drilling. I don't have any ECC88 tubes yet so it will be a few days before it will be ready to test.
Blessings, Terry

This version is made clearly for etching compagny ptoduction. I always made home etch board with UV transfer....i must try one day thermotransfert...

That is awesome job. I do not have my board for ecc88 yet. I am to lazy prapobly heh.

Please post yours eagle schematic just in case for quick look.

Very nice Terry as always and very fast, You are a machine.
Are you using a half Watt resister or 1/4W.

Hi gaborbela,i think you and other guys have a try to vsha valve by borys.Very nice Terry as always and very fast, You are a machine.

It is a must!😉

Please use 0,6W metal film resistors, few of them are dissapating around 0,2W. The metal film ones are more realible. I have damadged a very nice speaker after a small carbon resistor failed and full DC went into the speaker. Since I am allways using a speaker protection.
As far I remember you have a good few nice toshiba mosfets, It would be a perfect match to the tube.
thimios
I think the ECC88 is even better, but I have to make another board to do a direct A-B test with 12AU7.

I haven't ECC88 Piotr and it is expensive to order one.🙁gaborbela

Today i had an accident....my sound card damaged when testing this IPS.
I don't know how this occurs but left Chanel line output was only 0.5v.
Good news is that the damaged part is an smd trans.(marking ,max)(ktd1304)working as mute circuit.
Desoldering this, the out is again 1.5v🙂

Which resistors are dissipating over 1/4w? There is I no room for 1/2w resistors on this layout. On the 12AU7 boards I didn't notice any resistors getting warm.

Terry, the package for resistor i use in my layout is "207"=> 0.6W metal oxyde resistor type.

All looks fine but C9=100pF is not required, I left the room for it just in case some tube have too much gain. Bellow is my schematic to compare. R6=470R can stay, it does not matter much. I have added LED under the tube socket as an option, there will be approx 5-6mA flowing threw it so it will nicely light up the tube (like in pic bellow), I am using two SMD LED's there.
Terry
There are:
R29,R11 = 22kR --> I putt there two resistors just in case, both of them dissapate around 0,25W alltoghether so it is safe but since I have burned a nice speaker I am not using carbon resistors anymore. 1/2W resistor looks exacly the same as the 1/4W, metal film resistors have higher rating (raster is same 6,3mm or 7mm).
Thimios
You can putt the diode network to protect the card input - they will clamp the voltage to certain level - like in gates in mosfet amp.

Hi Peter,
So that I'm clear, R29.R11 only see 1/8w each? I only use metal film resistors except for some higher watt values. I now see that some .6w resistors are smaller footprint but I don't keep any of those in stock. I will hook up the VSHA today and measure the dissipation of all the resistors and see if any are too high.
Thanks, Terry
