Thank you Marc
Very likely other people interested on the octal so we can make a small GB.
That octal tube is great 😀
By the way do you know anything about the Moskito hybrid amp on any (French) forum (in private if you do)
They closed and removed that tread in these forum and I remain with the collected parts and schematic but with out any support..😕
So bad when these things happen
Greetings
Was that on HCFR?
Marc
Hi Terry,
Have use classical 20mA red led for 2 led in VSHA ECC88-IPS?
Marc
Yes I used red LED's
Yes I used red LED's
Yes i know you use red one but do you remember what type?

I just used standard red.
some photos.
Hi
Thank you EvanC...
That is it, I did saved the 4PC (stage) schematics way back but I'm still not sure that would give all the necessary information to build it successfully. Unfortunately these thread ended (you know how and that get me unprepared) hard to find any useful information, support so on.
I know you built several great amplifier honestly 🙂 are you satisfied with these amp.
I know these is not a cheap project. 🙂
Right now I will build the amplifier with the 5 pair transistor (the PC boards from the GB) with the ECC88 IPS 🙂 Do these get me somewhere close to that sound? Maybe with the LatFet OPS.
I'm not sure if you finished yours (these combo OPS and the tube IPS) so I could have some feedback or opinion about the two amplifier. I know we compare apple with orange, but on the end we still listen our favorite music at the end of the day.
You know what I mean.
Al do these is a hybrid amp I wish to respect these topic and not to pollute. If you can please post your short opinion or PM it to me.
Thank you very much!!!
Greetings
I think I started to like simple stuff, If you will spend some time and putt a bit of the ''hart'' into it, it will ''rock'' really nice. IMHO the simple amps have some ''magic'' so I will stick with a few componnet ones.
IPS from post no #206 - I just got a good bit listen to it, so far it is the best 6 transistor amp I have ever made (the VAS transistors are MJE350). Measurements are preatty good too (2x 45V psu + EF3 OPS). Now I am in progress of some fine tuning of the thermal behavior (just two resistor tweak).

Hi Boris!
is there GB for the pcbs
for your excellent amp?
padamiecki
There is no GB for it. It is part of the system (I might have some spare boards left). But an integrated amp board can be made with just a few components more.
I have a few new amps comming in next month or two.

Measurements are impressive

The amp above names JetFire, it is a very simple CFA IPS board with a potentiometer "DC servo''. Nothing special, looks like a basic cfa amp form the book but it plays really nice.
Bellow my PSU unit for amplifiers, I have spent nearly two months for testing and designing it and still see the way to improve it.

I do not know how to tag it properly 🙁

the Moskito hybrid
Hi Gabor - did you try some internet search, there is information out there on the Moskido that may help you finish it, and you could start a new thread on this forum for your own use maybe
MOSKIDO Amplifiers by the well respected Broskie

Could you schematic (circuit) this amplifier?
thanks you!
A few builds of iAMP100 and a bigger brother. The very first generation of it. Looks good, hope it sounds good too😀
