Your guess is as good as mine.
We are only ever three square meals away from a revolution.
I just found this revolution. It's a beginning. The table has turned!Revolution in societal, nutritional, environmental, financial, technological or something else?

I want to post a youtube video of a discussion on a street in Australia between a "Buddhist" and a "Vegan"......it's lovely....can I? Pretty please??![]()
Sure why not.
Tss. Over achiever!I've been insulted before they even knew I was vegan! 😀
This is it. I think they both make good points, believe it or not! Anyway food for thought and a little for everyone and makes a change from the usual........yeh.....so.....whatever......YouTubeSure why not.

Ah yes, I'm familiar with Joey Carbstrong, he's been doing some great work lately.
And many others and other funding, it's his full time job, very lucrative.
Anyway, I know of the two which I'd rather spend the day with 😀

If double blind taste test doesn't reveal difference, then it should get a green light.Mosa meat looks good. 50k burgers from a few cells.

My vegan friend I saw yesterday said people shouldn't get too hung up about strict application of the philosophy because then it's in danger of becoming a religion. She said social media is an awful place to communicate meaningfully because that's where the extremists shout the loudest and that these are the ones the main stream media focuses on, makes a good story, and attracts certain kinds of people.
I tried to talk to people on a vegan forum, asked a philosophical question in their philosophical sub-forum, a moderator accused me of "walking into the proverbial lion's den and asking a provocative question"........only one of the few who spoke to me eventually realised that all I'd done was ask a philosophical question....this was a couple of days after even he had used the words murder, rape and torture and I hadn't replied he sent me a private message in a far more understanding tone and we had a reasonable chat. All very depressing to be honest.

Don't believe your Vegan friend's statements as gospel. Try yourself.
I lost 26kgs while being non Vegan but doing 12 to 15 kms brisk walk everyday. Limited food whether Vegan or Not. " Only what the body needs, sometimes even alcohol"

Your friend is exactly the kind of friend I feel everyone might consider avoiding.
I have met many and ignored their so called advice.

I haven't known her that long, she doesn't go on about it thankfully and she hasn't preached to me at all but has answered my questions from her personal perspective. I have a vulnerable friend in Liverpool who is being bullied by a couple of extremists
