USB to I2S 384Khz - DSD Converter

It seems that in my case DSD256 and DSD512 is not working under Windows.
HQ player for example hangs with Asio drivers. Working fine with DSD128 on standard drivers.

I suspect a problem in the firmware. I have received the board 10 days ago.
How I can check the actual firmware on the board?

I've installed the latest Asio drivers 1.07 but still in drop down menus of different apps is 1.03. Maybe there are leftovers from previous version.
Perhaps Jackal has more information about new tools and firmwares?

Unfortunately I don't, it has been almost impossible to reach Domenico the last months. I had a message from him a week ago but he didn't tell me anything we don't already know.

I have installed ASIO 1.07 and you are correct, it still reports itself as 1.03. Probably he forgot to update that part in the code. I wish he added two things to each release he makes (drivers, AISO, firmware): date and release log.

Hi all,

Hope one of you can help with an answer to this hopefully quick question: I'd like to use the Amanero board with a DAC that requires 45 & 49 MHz in order to play 384 kHz. Is this possible as the onboard oscillators are 22.. & 24.. MHz?

Thanks for any insights you may have ;-)

Hi
The Amanero works well when playing 352k, 384k in original setup..

Hi caad,

Pleased to meet another Dane here 🙂 Thanks for replying but maybe I should be more specific ... I need the MCLK output from the amanero board to be 45.. & 49.. MHz and if the onboard clocks are 22.. & 22.. MHz they need to be multiplied by 2 to make it work.

Do you know if the Amanero board does this?

Hi

You can run external MCLK input with the new FW. this is what i have measured on the original .
Measured on Amanero I2S output
PCM Sample Rate(KHz) Bit Clock (BCLK) Master Clock (MCLK)
44,1 2,82 22,5792
88,2 5,6 22,5792
176,4 11,2896 22,5792
352,8 22,5792 22,5792
48 3,07 24,576
96 6,1 24,576
192 12,2 24,576
384 24,576 24,576
