your room acoustic is bad.
I think you would get 20 times better return in your investisment if you did work toward improving something that really, objectively speaking, makes tremendous measurable improvement
have fun with your spedometer and expensive tweeter! you will learn a thing or two.
as for me, couldnt be better: housing is unnafordable, lost my career due to covid. thx for asking 🙂
well at least we have one thing in common , we both lost our jobs due to covid.
what that has to do with speakers I have no idea
next
I've had a covid twice. Once right at the beginning, when there were no vaccines or drugs. Then I was vaccinated three times, mainly to spend my summer vacation in Greece 🤣 , and then I got it again. It was nothing serious, lucky man. It was harder for me after the vaccine than when I was sick. 😵

You kept quiet so I started to worry, a little bit. 🤣
night and day upgrade 😉I am too wating with a popcorn salad bowl ... being in holyday though...
Hey fellas,
question.
The poly caps though aren’t polar I don’t think.
do you have to have it a specific side up when using in a shunt type use ?
as with the woofer circuit below ?
see the 18uf cap in the woofer circuit?
does that have to be any specific way? + or - ?
thanks

like for these caps below which are jumped together.
should they be that way or with the writing reversed?
or doesn’t matter?

You remembered correctly, film caps are non polarized.Hey fellas,

Now here is something interesting.
notice how the internal xo is wired backwards.
that is the polarity is reversed.
the binding posts I have circled in red are the red ones on the outside where the speaker wires connect to the amp.
so when I am connecting my external speaker wires to my amp the red binding posts are carrying the -
if that makes sense
look at the schematic and then the pic. of the xo mirrored for easy reading.
the ground of the 18uf ( woofer circuit) and the ground of the 0.22uf inductor ( tweeter circuit) are on the red binding posts.
is that ok?
i highly highly doubt Proac made a mistake with this.
thanks!
