LMP series Ag(3%)Cu(0.8%)Sn(95%)Ni&Ge(0.06&0.1%) to solder.

I ordered all were 0.8~0.1 diameter one, U can use 25wats solder to sold.

This solder had max melting temp in 227degree. Will easy to solder & not easy to cause oxized for the silver core.

Hi Thomas,

Thank you for the offer of the OPA627 and the silver cable. As my DAC has not shipped yet (I assume I'm one of the DIYers who have been waiting a long time :xeye:) can you include these parts when shipping the main DAC.

You mentioned that there is extra postage from the factory to you as well as shipping to the DIYer, so I'm happy to pay for your costs to ship from factory to you (but assuming there is no extra costs from you to me as you have to ship to me anyway).

Regards,
Dean

Hi Thomas,

I have read all the posts on your dac kit and have been thinking about ordering one. From reading your post yesterday do I understand correctly that you will be offering this kit at a price which is 20% less than it is now with a group buy? If yes do you know when this group buy would likely happen?

Thanks,
Mark

Ultimate Twin TDA1541a Non-oversampling DAC with tube buffer & reclock set...........

Hi Anthony,

I had 8 sets on hand, will ship this several days since the OPA627 will arrived this several days.

I will email to u when 627a arrived. I will post yor kit with the opa627 whic was the most update one.

markgall,

I was testing another project.

this is TDA1545a NON-DAC. also contain reclock( Use TCXO but will be same 1.25ppm). If diyers did not like to use. Can short for it. & running in NOS mode.
I was testing parallel 4~8 pcs. All this will had Optical input. may be later kit will same too.

This dac was running with 8 AA battery about it. I thought many diyers had re-chargble AA battery on hand. Use 8 AA battery at least can running two days.

Kits will follow with funis Dac, batery mount. optical or USB input.

My solid silver core digital cable will use in the digital input. 1feets only.

I will be same use nano pulse trans into the dac.

Pls let me know any diyers will had interest. Because its a group order. Price will below USD 110~120 include posatge EMS worldwide. This also one sound card price.

All will factory funish. But I need to accumulate the order.

so i guess must groups buy.

I will step by step to say the total order, when will handover. All will refer the factory. But I guesss will after stop all the groups order. I can send the gerber file to factory. open production line. I guess within 6 weeks can handover to all ordered diyers.

thx

Hi Thomas,

How's the 'Hum Issue' with the TDA1541A kit? Hope you can fix it soon. You have new PCB's already?

Is Reclocker included?

Do you provide a PCB with 417A/5842 OPT tube output ONLY?
I only want 1 pair of tube outputs for simplicity. But there are 2 pairs of tubes in the attached pic (switchable?):

http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=670678&stamp=1119846894

Do you have good picture of the enclosure/case tha will fit all the Transformers (spdif input, signal chokes, etc?).

Thanks. 🙂

Ultimate Twin TDA1541a Non-oversampling DAC with tube buffer & reclock set...........

For the hum reason, I will follow with new pcb which was new design tube buffer.

this means U will get total two tube buffer because some of the PCB had hum, some hadn't. I will post one new PCB to all buyer. if they had hum, they can use the new buffer. if not, they can use the Old one.

is it good ??

thx

How much for new pcb ? and can i re-use my older parts ?

Hello Thomas,

Happy new year!

I had a different experience with the Audio Note silver pulse transformer. I ended up going back to the original one. I thought that listening fatigue increased with the Audio Note transformer at the S/PDIF input. I believe it increases jitter in the digital connection.

I'm interested in ordering your new TDA1545a DAC. Please count me in in a group order.

I'd also be interested in your new tube buffer circuit if different than the old one. And the new 2002 TDA1541a DAC chips you have. Please let me know.

Were you able to send me the TCXO and new nano transformer? I'd really like to test these parts in my twin DAC kit.

Thanks.
