I understand that the cs8412& 8414 made mistake. I will post another CS8414 which was funish in the adapter already to U ( free of charge) that when the cs8414 ad problems U can directlyn remove & use the new 8414with adapter to fit the dac.
Hope U will lke them.
The battery bias only remive the cathode capaciors of the tube & use battery to it.
Mike, I will not use this chassis later. I will choose another method may be acrylic or others. The Hum may be cause by the single c-core power trans becausetesting of the power by myself only test the voltage. I cannot test the hum. sorry for all.
So I change the new power transformer to all use my best quality Z11/M6 core for it.

Pls remove the middle leg & test for it. Your package & all diyers received had two pcs. one for DAC & one for transport.

Yes, U right. I test your opinions for the CCS & found out its pretty good. The U2 was ad1850 & operate with 16Mhz TCXO.
I order the Mumetal shield for the chips which will ot fit nto the dac. Diyers can fit or not by their decision.

I ask berhard about the SM5864 that this Chips was delta sigma & runnin in 384fs. I will combine the power supply's PCB & tube output which was use one E180cc every channel. I got large stock 1962's on hand & test in very good quality. This tubes was SQ grade & had 10000hrs life.Parallel two plate will 3.5K plate resistance only. will test with 15K:600 nano prepamp output trans.
pls see the phtos show te mu-metal shielding for the re-clock & chips.

I was talking to one of japan solder company for audio solder.They will break down into small roll to me every roll will 200G. price I can offer to diyers was USD 18 include posatge. It was 0.8~1mm diameter wire with Ag(3%)Cu(0.8%)Sn(95%)Ni&Ge(0.06&0.1%) with 3.5% RMA flux Ersin.
The melting point was below 220 degree.
diyer will love them.

all the new kits arrived & I will post on saturday because due to the paid diyers was waiting a little bit long. I will free to upgrade to all opa627 to them.
And there will be a little renew, I test one digital cable ( silver core) flatline very good.

Kung Hai Fat Choi. The first contact after Chinese new year.
At these few days my friend with me had been tested the nano amerphous transforner individual. We both agree the nano trans is a high resolution component but less musical. It produce quick response at low to high frequency even better resolution then my AudioNote silver wire transformer at mid to high frequency.
AudioNote silver trans produce much more musical harmonic and sweet sound with low to high frequency balance. Base on the price nano trans is a best buy component for DAC. It works with low to mid front-end CD player will porduced execllent result. I think the copper winding can improve the performance of the trans. I have thinking about using more thickness copper wire (0.4mm dia)and tweest winding or using silver wire.
How about the ver.3 TD1541a DAC? May we face to face discuss about the audio technique?

the last one was a good news, my uncle help me to colect 300pcs of new ( 2002 versions) of tda1541a chips. This must at least 300pcs.

I can at least down the price 20% for the funish one BECAUSE ALL FACTORY FUNISH CAN LESS THE HANDCRAFT FOR THE PARTS. But it must match the despatc date of my uncle monther board to hong kong from Taiwan. It will onl cost litttle bit of time more.
But for less risk. I would lke to prepare groups buy. will step by step to post the conditions. When I funish the PCB, handmade funish sample, est I will start this one. But every DAC will only use one chips.
For previous buyer. I will not forget U. I will free to provide the new silver digital cable to U, U only paythe pstage & the postage from factory to me is OK. very cheap. USD 25 only wil arived into your hand for silver core cable. Tis USD 25 was only fr the postage from factory post cable to me & I post to U's postage. I didn't collect any money for the cables. As I said this is free to Old DAC user.

output cable from the PCB to the RCA socket will renew to this type. output wire of all the coming dac will se 6N rectangle solid core.
all the cable was OEM from factory to me. This factory was OEM for USA AEROSPACE COMMUNICATION.
VERY GOOD QUALITY BUT CHEAP IN PRICE FOR MY BULK ORDER.
