I'm a bit cheap for that. I just used 1" MDF.
Now I just have to work out what to do with the two spare W22s.

Smaller versions of my Linkwitz dipoles, thanks to Neil Kaye for the inspiration.
Love your site, your DIY kung fu is quite good 😀
I have been posting lots of OB designs, but have yet to build one myself, not sure I can even cut a round hole properly😱 I suppose that day will come soon after reading/looking at all these wonderful designs.

jaz,
before i thought its a difficult task to do flush mount for the drivers, but as i found out, they are quite manageable to do.
all u need is router, either trimmer or plunge. use a straight bit with 10-12mm size.
make some simple jig, let say 10cm x 25cm 12mm plank, with screw hole for the router depth adjustment base. then punch a nail for the radius of ur drivers.
cheers

I have an even easier way. I just gave the plans for the front baffle to a kitchen manufacturer with a CNC router and let them do it for me.
I could have got them to do a nice gloss black finish, but instead I figured I'd stuff that up myself.

Look for "ripole" in this forum. There is lots of information. BTW: the ripoles above are "originals", designed by the patent holder himself.

Well, there's definitely a lot of hand-blown stuff in the background... I only recognize it because it wasn't so long ago that my house looked like that! OP, care to chime in?

When I saw the waveguide I didn't think any further. 🙄
You are right. Those are NOT originals. Those are.
