UGS Power : it's U.P.

Thanks for the replies, everybody. But, I guess I didn't ask the right question. I know what the current is and how to decrease it. The question should be: How would I determine the optimum current and what is the minimum current without sacrificing too much sound quality? Add on: what are the best semis to use for optimum/minimum current?

Feeding the input capacitance of the six output transistors with enough current is my biggest concern-I guess I should do it the hard way and try to use that calculus I supposedly learned. . .

Hi,🙂

this is my almost finished up: I must anodize with titanium color front and rear pannel and upper cover with black pain.
It sounds really fantastic: precision, extension, separation and force are present at a very high degree.
I have only a little problem with the vumeter: it is really difficult to stop it in the middle of the line: after tuned in that position it wander apparently without control returning slowly at the beginning of the scale or going with same speed at the end-scale.
Anyway a great great amp: with ugs a perfect marriage!
Thank you Cheff!🙂

I had those boards and sold them - that's a very tough build. Congratulations, the amp looks great!
