The schematic is now updated.
The exotic Renesas is gone, so it can be build with standard part except for the Mosfets from exicon or allfet...
I have added comments to the schematic. It is a nobrainer to setup.... 😀
There is no thermal runaway. If the mosfets is not mounted correct the current will just adjust down.
The only parts that need to be mounted on the heatsink is the exicon's.....
On turn on they will start with an idle of 750mA and falling to 560 - 600mA within 5 min. And they will stay there.
Add lots of cooling.... at least <0.4K/W.
I have only one comment.... Start building it!! It will reward with an good sound.
If there is any one in denmark that would like to listen to them before building them. They will enter my setup within a week..... Just have to finish the case work.
They will be connected to: MiniPC + itunes + M2tech Young DAC + heimdahl + TSSA V1.6 + Tyr + Raidho C1.1

Sonnya,
Are you going to do a PCB?
I have done a PCB. There is only very small changes to it. So they will go into the press with 12 hours.
So you changed to bipolar drivers. That is interesting because the TO220 laterals are hard to get. I certainly whould like to listen to your amp when i am in Denmark.
It is possible to order as many as needed. 😉
The prices are as following:
Bare PCB - €21/channel
PCB with SMT assembled €39/channel
PCB with all SMT assembled and all parts except heatsink - €102/channel
TSSA module assembled and test on a SK56 150mm heatsink - €253/channel
I would prefer to deliver the modules with all SMT assemblied on the boards. I have tried to sell boards before without SMT assemblied and people did not get them made...

You are welcome Joachim. Where in germany are you located?

In the PCB placement (below), you can see the resemblence to TSSA V1.5

Sonny, i am located in Brilon. That is South of Paderborn in an area called "Sauerland".
On a bigger scale it is between Kassel and Dortmund.

I have made a page http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/sito-audio/217616-tssa-v1-6-docs-buyers-list.html#post3119979
With the documents for the TSSA V1.6 amp.
Also all the buyers should mail to: audioparts@sitosite.dk
I will as previous send a proforma invoice, so i need a shipping address also.

Hi Sonny,
Do you have any real world measurements for this completed design ?
FFT @ 1watt & 10 watt would be most interesting for me
cheers

Not the latest revision.
But i will make them tomorrow.
I think they will be close to the http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/sito-audio/213549-tssa-v1-5-a.html#post3042845
That is what surprise me most... it is not super low, yet the detail level from midrange and up is very very high.
