Dim. will be 25x60x1cm. I wonder how thick layer of glue is suitabel for best result, thick or thin? Anyone has an idea?
I have discovered something, I have had some shoutiness in the sound mid range and blamed the back panel. But after using some other coupling between speaker/stand/floor it is sounding better. Very sensitive it seem.
😀 I think I will stay at the station for now. I have to decide if I want to reinforce the back and how. Maybe I will hear no difference anyway.
Seem I lack some sanity in this regard, get carried away with some kind of hifi obsession. I obviously is a little out of balance.

That is perfectly understandable, and we encourage that here.. 😀 I'm an extreme case.. 😛
Got some ceramic tiles for free from a shop, 25x70 cm, making holes for terminals and then glue it on.
One speaker glued, takes 24 hours at least to harden. Gluing next speaker tomorrow.
I think I got the outtake for terminals to look good. Pictures to come for the interested.

Used the white tiles a compromise between looks and strength. Granite would be too intrusive I think. And it was cheap 🙂. Posting picture tomorrow night when dry.
It does not look out of place due to color and logical thickness. Maybe some paint on the untreated ceramic thin side, or you like the stripe, it certainly tricks more visual height, like in clothes.
I have not decided if I will paint it on the edge but I think it work like it is too. I will listen tonight and hopefully it is better than before.
It is a little better for sure, but as expected not gone. When 100% dry maybe even better. I have no regrets at least since it did no harm. Gluing other speaker tomorrow.
