I dont think most people her understands German, but it sounds like a good explanation.

I know it was a joke. In German a Duck is ´Ente´, in Danish it is ´And´. Donald Duck is Anders And here. I just thought it would be interesting to find out why we use this expressesion.

I allways impedance linearize my drivers, dampens the tweeter resonance frequensy, do impedance linear attenuation on tweeters, and make a baffle step compensation network.
Then 6 dB serial filters work extremely well. Dynaudio has a long history doing that with great results.

Last I knew- Dynaudio used parallel filters, not series xovers.

In earlier days, when they got famous for high end speakers all of their designs were serial 6 dB crossovers - and they still sound good, if they are well designed.
