I’m not sure as I don’t use preamps, there are several proven, popular builds on here though. Just make sure it can output minimum 1.7V rms.
Not sure, I'm not knowledgeable enough to read the schematic, and there are no specifications anywhere in the documentation. The documents mention 1V output a few times, so I think it's just a little shy on power for Wolverine. Someone else here will know where to point you (I don't use preamps) 🤓
EF3-3 V5 prototype up and running!

Hi Stuart,
Great news indeed!
I do have a question though, it looks like adding the Wolverine drill pattern to a 4U 400mm case adds 70€.
Is this correct?

Maybe I miss understood. I will ask @Gianluca to confirm.I do have a question though, it looks like adding the Wolverine drill pattern to a 4U 400mm case adds 70€?

And for anyone with existing "standard" diyaudio UMS heatsinks:
For 1 Channel. All boards have some common holes that line up with UMS so getting started with the PCB as a template is easy.
300mm deep:
EF3-3 with TO-3P outputs - no drilling required
EF3-3 with TO-264 outputs - 6 additional holes (outputs)
400mm+ deep:

EF3-3 with TO-264 outputs - 6 additional holes (outputs)
EF3-4 with TO-3P outputs - 6 additional holes (pcb and drivers)
EF3-4 with TO-264 outputs - 14 additional mounts required (pcb, drivers and outputs)
EF3-4 with MT-200 outputs - 22 additional mounts required (pcb, drivers and outputs)
EF3-5 with TO-3P outputs - 16 additional mounts required (pcb, drivers and outputs)

Thanks for the detailed information post Stuart! The coupon gives a flat 12,5% discount to all the 400mm deep Dissipante/MiniDissipante chassis and Wolvering heatsinks substitution (which is 60 EUR and not 70)
Depends on your target rail voltage and how many output pairsWhat output transistors are we recommended for the V5 with a Cobra S2 Smps?
In my case, the coupon deducted 41 EUR for the 5U Dissipante + baseplate + substitution back panel + heatsink substitution + set of four feet. Thanks for the detailed information post Stuart! Am I missing something?
Feet, baseplate and back panel substitution are not included
