For those who love "bricolage" this is the third option to connect to Ian's Dual XO board.
Power supply only should be wired, cannibalizing a couple of daughter board.

How long will it take before we can pay for the assembly?

I'm collecting payment for the received orders.
As soon as I have received all the payment, I'll pay Laptech for the crystals.
Laptech asks 8-9 weeks lead time, I hope they will reduce that time, delivering the crystals within the end of February.
As soon as I will receive the crystals I'll ship immediately.

In the meantime, who needs assembly service, please, fill the document provided by Phil (korben69), so he can quote the service and ask for the payment.

Very interesting project. Thank you for all your efforts!

I came to know that crystals and oscillators can have variances in phase noise performance sometimes by as much as 30% in a typical production batch. There is a guy doing custom grading for many brands. He thinks manufacturers generally provide carefully curated samples for favourable evaluation but the actual production versions are mostly crap.
Will you do any tests to check against this or I assume you are just depending on device characterization?

Another question: re: the 45/49.xx or 22/24.xxx types have better noise
figures?

as you know SC-cut crystal needs an oven to work, so the project become more complex. That's the reason I have chosen AT-cut crystal.
I don't have feedback about phase noise from the manufacturer, because the phase noise is a typical oscillator parameter, rather than a crystal parameter. BTW, fundamental mode crystals from Laptech are manufactured by means of a strong polish finish, to ensure almost perfect crystal surface. This usually helps to reach good phase noise performance close to the carrier.
The plot I posted at #5 of this thread shows a phase noise of -100dBc at 1Hz from the carrier using this Clapp oscillator and a crystal from the german QT, a resistance welded crystal with polish finish. The Laptech one is a cold weld package crystal with superior specs: very low ESR (less than 10 ohm), low motional capacitance (that usually means high Q) and high production quality level. They test each crystal and discard those who don't reach standard specs.

Difficult to say about 22/24/45/49.XXX phase noise. Phase noise of an oscillator usually increases with higher frequencies. However, 45/49.XXX are 3rd overtone, which usually means higher Q, that helps to reduce the phase noise.

It can give us a prof of concept if at the end both the design and current Laptech production worth the effort?

As I said in the first post of this thread, I have limited access to the university lab, so I will give a measurement when all the 3 oscillators will be ready (Clapp, Butler and Driscoll types).

I would own a suitable measurement gear to do myself the phase noise test, but unfortunately such gear costs several tens of thousand USD/Euro.
