I am also waiting for the PCB to arrive from BigPanda. Most of the coponents I do have. I will start building as soon as I have the PCB, and then do a test together with my "professional friend", Roar (Post# 291).

As far as I could see, BMW850 posted the link to photos and other stuff:

Regards,

I thought your link was from bigpanda... I want to see the actual boards that BMW850 receives, which to my understanding, BMW850 has not yet received them yet.
I will post some pictures when the boards arrives.
The link I receive from Bigpanda via email, together with the confirmation that he post the boards.

Seperate Front end regulation
I am thinking about doing a seperate front end voltage regulator without using the original voltage doubler. What should be the correct voltage for the front end?😕

That is certainly a good move. Voltage Doublers tend to be noisy.
did nagys post a close up pic of the backside from the actual pcb of the goldmund amp cause layout is critical.
why was he banned btw?

He started a new thread because this one imploded a few weeks back and he wasn't being "open" to other's input. The moderators didn't take kindly to this.
I understand what he was trying to do here, but the way he went about it, he alienated a lot of members.
This is not what the Moderator said when he reported the action taken. The moderators didn't take kindly to this.
If you want what was actually reported, go and read Salas acting as Moderator:

in short - Nagys was arrogant and danger-inducing ;
in forum where I'm moderator - he would be banned long time ago .

Hallo all,
The boards arrived here in The Netherlands, Bigpanda thanks.
It’s difficult to make a good picture, I make the pictures close by the window on the floor 😉

Rudy,
in case you run into stability issues, ground the heatsink and solder the C's at the drains to the heatsink. (in the Hitachi appl. note, btw)

Jacco thanks,
I will tell the “person” that build this Amplifier for me.
Is there anybody on the forum that will build this Goldmund clone for me?

Rudy,
Since there are many members in your country, I think it will be easy for you to find, as far as one comes as a volunteer!

Max.

When you say build. Do you mean just solder all the components to the PCB, or do you mean a finished product that you can plug in and start listening to music?

Yes, only solder the components to the pcb and test it stable.
Rudy
and if the tests show it to work and they send the assembled PCB to you and it blows up, who do you blame?
Nobody that is the risk,
That can happen with a new Amplifier, I test the Amplifier also the first month with old speakers.
