I sold my old Audi Quattro a few weeks ago to a dog owner.....he has six of these guys.............all from Gyuriland!🙂

He uses them as a pack of bird dogs for shooting grouse; that is a big money sport around here.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a decent wooden chassis? Not the Hammond type
either. This is for a 45 direct coupled amplifier using a 717A preamp and a 5u4G rectifier.

Folks, sorry for interrupting your discussions, I will have some off-topic questions for you gurus and not so guru 🙂. I'd like to ask it here cause it is more like thoughts than plans for now.
I am so tired of my old CD player and modified adcom GDA-600 DAC. I'd like to go to media center-like stuff for my digital music. My thoughts are in general:
1) have an iMac(i am an apple guy)
2) connect a DAC with USB and set up external clocking on iMac.

Question is: how many different interfaces, boards, jitters, i2s/usb synchronizing devises are sufficient(necessary? 🙂 to have good results? Maybe some kits are advisable? 🙂

You can contact local carpenter or find interesting old box at online auction sites or garage sales. 😉
