I'd take one, Dave, if the cost isn't too crazy.
Admit it, John, you'd take it even if the cost WAS crazy.
OK, I could commit to a dozen I think. But Wayne would have to authorise the copy, maybe even let me have the drawings and possibly talk to Titan.
This is all a big ask. I'm up for it though and want two just for myself !

It's your fault, you started it!This thread is completely awesome! I'm interested in a platter. 🙂
Glad to see more information coming to light to continue to improve these tables.
I sent an email to Titan yesterday asking for information about the platter and mentioned this thread and the possibility they would be getting more requests for info. No reply yet, FYI.
So yes, I'm interested in one if a group buy is available and makes sense.
Well, I'm glad I brought it up ! And thanks to Jim for finding it. Just need word from Wayne and a dozen might not be enough !!

So what if anything needs adjusting when a non standard extra weight of the platter is applied to the servo?
Does it sense it's drag and overcompensate or this isn,t an issue at all?

Just found the invoice on those platters. Machining on 10 was $4750. The material was supplied to them. Probably $200 - $300 for steel so about $800 a platter.

Wayne-
Any chance for a group buy for your SP-10 power supply PCB?
Thanks,
Mike

Well, if Wayne would release the drawings, I'm up for buying 10. But at that price how many still want one ?
At that price I'd be in for two. I was thinking material cost would be at least double Wayne's estimation.
I wonder how does that machining cost scale... If we order more, can we bring price down a bit?
