2x +/-24V cap multiplier with current limit set at 0.8A.
And auxiliary PSU with 24V 0.5A.
R-cores are from Phoenix Japan.

That's wicked Patrick....🙂.
Phoenix invented the R-Core....expect the best but how do we get them in Europe at a "decent" price ?
Best we got here is Selectronic's Indian made ones ( at least easier to get ).
Since your's fit just right in the case i will check how selectronics fit...ie: compare dimentions.
....and alas Phoenix does not ship abroad for individuals.

But then no reason not to use toroids.

I know that they are VERY expensive.....that's why you leave everyone drooling....😀
I will try the Selectronics.
I will try the Selectronics.
What are the transformer specifications?
I like toroids (in particular custom made ones) and if Patric says no reason not to use such - I will go for this🙂
I might well have better returns spending the money on 4x R-cores for my SEN to get rid of batteries 🙄

in terms of size Phoenix is 23mm wider ie: Phoenix 124mm - Selectronix 101mm, other dimentions are similar.
weight: Phoenix 1.4 kg...Selectronics: 1.3kg.
Electromagnetic characteristics....well that remains to be seen.

Right...that is for the uncased one.
The one with the case is the bigger one......Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust fits.

Someone asked about news.
Unfortunately not much. 🙁
All hardware ready, only waiting for the control software.
But the software guy is SUPER busy, so hobby has to wait.
I am hoping for some progress in December, as I also want to test this, after finishing 7 headphone amp designs this year.
