I was more referring to my experience with the manufacturers of PCB that proposed the ENIG finishing as the best available and in my case is not a matter of money because I never ask for discount of better price but just for quality.

We are shamefully slow, but we are making progress.
For some years, behind the screen, I have been working with a member of the forum for a second source of the cases.
Today I receive the first photos of the prototype from this second source.
It takes much longer than planned, but for very good reasons.
They do look perfect from the photos.
So that is one big hurdle overcome. 🙂
More progress in the next two weeks .......

...Just for dimension ref ...the other is a SDTRANS board....F5X pre amp boards .......only Patrick has them at the moment, the cases are intended specifically for them , that is the fact.
Although these are not the final production cases...only alpha test ones.
