The magic is in the circle
Started building this today.
Hopefully have it finished by tomorrow.
I will release the circuit if it sounds good

I was reminded again how dumb I am when I realised I misunderstood something about the circuit.
I underspecced some components. Work has halted until I get some more parts.

Perhaps this word is appropriate here:
Eek - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

so - 3 sentences instead one word - Poof!
I'm usually sayin' just - 'ook!

It didn't get to that stage.
I had the circuit in front of me while I was joining it point to point, and I started thinking where the hell is that current gonna go.
Then I said: Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh SH1T
You can see I'm trying to improve myself.
Yeah. I wasn't as polite as that.
I used up a lot of time working on this thing, and now I am starting to think the dumb-O-tron might have out dumbed me.
I have to be dumber to sought this out.
OK
Let's see if I can get this bloody thing operational, with it producing something that resembles music

Just got it up and running, but the bias jumps like a rocket when I plug the xlr cable into the amp. Need to think what the hell is going on. Not sure whether the signal input should be grounded through a resistor. The supplies are floating

If you have Jfet input, any preamp offset would affect bias. Rothacher talked about importance of signal grounding as well as symmetry of two sides to maintain balance. Without circuit, just guessing. With circuit, still guessing

Are those lexicon laterals? Enhancement mode? Coupling cap? Sorry, no answers, just questions.🙂 thought about using R085 in single stage circlotron. No coupling caps required.
Top secret.
I have an even dumber circuit than this one. Just thought of it today. Should have thought of it earlier. Bloody simulates incredibly well.
As soon as I get this bastard operational I will reveal all.
