I'm glad you're all happy with the boards. So far approx. 75 pcs have been sold, I still have 25 left.
After that, they might not be available anymore, (unless I use group buy approach, to generate sales 😉)

It's a wonder you put it all together so fast, Peter. They look very nice,.,.,.and small
Thanks
Thanks
Waiting... almost patiently!
Very much looking forward to their arrival. Odd that it takes longer to cross the boarder than to cross the pond.

R8 (?) and R8(*)
I was looking at the schematic for ALEPH30.
I am confused by resistor R8 (R8? and R8*)?? - 2 R8???
On the layout by Peter, R8* was included.
Is it right for me to say that R8? can be omitted?
If so what is the suggested value for R8*
Please advice.
Thanks.

Any of those resistors can be omitted and I included only one.

A30 boards
Got mine today here in Denmark - looks very nice indeed, but d*** they are small. I find the holes for the resistor spaced to close for normal 1/4 watt - is it the idea that they should be mounted with the legs bended inwards ??
And another thing - is it only me thats needing matched mosfets ?
Mabye an idea for an(other) sales service from someone with the tools and expertice to match devices ?? Would sureley be appreciated ;-)
Thanx for making those boards !
Cheers !

jleaman is doing a group buy for parts for BrianGT's Mini-Aleph boards. He is doing a kit to make it a Aleph 30 (matched mosfets). I got one of these kits, but I got Peter's boards. There is a wiki for it, or you can email him to see if there are still any kits available (they have not yet shipped).
Re: A30 boards
Those boards were designed with miniature resistors in mind (like Phoenix or Panasonic line, 1/2W, from Digi Key, or Caddocks MK132 and Vishay S102). If you want to use regular resistors, they have to be mounted vertcally, which should not affect anything much, considering rather tight layout.

You could try some of Matthew's. His fet's has a very good reputation for being well matched🙂 You better hurry, I think!http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=622207#post622207And another thing - is it only me thats needing matched mosfets ?
