Thanks. Tastes very good. now on the hunt for a 1000uf cap. in the parts box. I have a 35v specimen but I don't think that's sufficient.

Here again. This is a worthwhile upgrade. The biggest impact is in between notes and quiet passages. A cleaner sound if you will.
Strobo wires are brown and red.
Cut the brown one, not the red one. Not the red one !! ...

We made too many cuts. Good thing for heat-shrink. I'm wondering when I attempt to do the ps mod will I be able to desolder the correct pieces without removing the pcb.

Nothing esploded 😀
Somethings haywire. 42dcv @ PS. Deck doesn't spin. 33 1/3 light is on. It won't switch to 45. Any thoughts?

I presume this is voltage directly from your power supply. What kind of voltage are you getting at the on-deck regulator? Since you have moved the PSU outboard, I presume you've removed the bridge rectifier from the PCB. Where have you attached your new PSU to the deck?
Also, DO NOT hit the start/stop button without the platter installed - this will cause damage to the circuitry.
