TDA7293+JFE2140(LSK489)composite feedback amplifier

Hello,
Our TDA7293 amplifier, featuring Bob Cordell's JFET-buffered composite feedback, has been well received by listeners. The amp is appreciated for its detailed yet non-fatiguing sound, delivering balanced performance across all frequencies, with a particularly captivating midrange. To further enhance this amplifier, we've prepared parallel and quad versions. We'll be constructing the quad version before the parallel one.

In the quad version:
  • We'll replace the Vishay MBB professional series resistors with Dale CMF55 and 60 resistors. As always, Epcos TDK film capacitors will be included on the PCB. We'll use Panasonic FR series onboard reservoir capacitors with 63V rating and the lowest possible ESR values.
  • Our transformer will be a 500VA 2x40Vac toroidal transformer from the Toroidy audio grade series, and, as in our previous projects, we'll build a capacitor bank using low ESR capacitors with a total capacity exceeding 15,000uF to prevent excessive bass extension.
  • The PCB traces for the power supply and speaker lines will be reinforced with silver wires and solder, and will be terminated with silver binding posts. During the design phase, we can also offer the option to convert the stereo amp into a mono block by adding bridge mode switches, allowing for a total output of up to 600W.

Yes I need to do fast them.

second information;

The single version TDA7293's power supply capacitors must be at least 10000uf for each channel and rail. In the cap bank application, we use 5x2200uf for each channel and rail and this is sufficient. In the parallel version, we will make the PSU card as 2x10000uf per channel rail.

5x2200uF measurements
