Yesterday I received a standard TDA1541A. This one was obtained from an official distributor but it looks different from the ones I have/had.
Remarkable is that it has no printing on it but it has laser engraved marks. It has also "taiwan" written on it.
Now comes the interesting part: it has a datecode of 2004 ! I thought I just let you all know. I have no explanation for it but it seems the chip has been produced way after it was declared obsolete. However, this is speculation of course. I can not think of another explanation since it was sold by a Philips distributor so it won't be a fake or rebranded chip.
