We have talked about it in the thread, I think several times. The only value I changed and played with was the 2R2 series resistor for the tweeter. Bewtween 2R7 and 4R are more fitting values for home use, IME. But needs adjusting to taste and room. Obviously, higher values will attenuate the tweeter. The max limit will be when the highs seem a bit muffled. Once there, back down a bit on the value, and you are there.
Probably even more important in open baffle than in boxes, though the CPA-12 boxed frequency response in my room is pretty crappy. Probably doesn’t help that I have heavy bass losses in the room.

So you didn’t add a parallel cap to this resistor and a limiting lpad like here?Bewtween 2R7 and 4R
I did use an Lpad too at one point. But I never added a parallel cap. Not sure if I have seen that specific schematic. What is the purpose of the parallel cap?
What particular driver are you using?…I might have missed the info in a previous post.I would have bought 15” drivers
I already built some panels to try my 12” 3149 open baffle with helper woofers.
I wanted to build the MLTL for them since I bought them with no enclosures.
The dimensions for the 15” MLTL almost seem easier to execute because it is not as tall and I think I could pull them off with two sheets of plywood and some scraps.
I may actually try and even easier MLTL first for some Lowther DX4 (Martin King’s). I picked them up dirt cheap. They needed some work, but I appear to have working properly now.
What is the purpose of the parallel cap?
ever heard of Newman compensation?
MLTL first for some Lowther DX4
I'm spoiled with bass foundation having from 15" (12" as min) so even not bothering to think about full range enclosure (meaning - bass capable) for anything 8", let alone measly 8" FR of Lowther stable
to each his own, but for me that's putherewhateverdecenttermyouprefer, being spoiled with extraordinary drivers from Yore, manufactured by various European factories, popping up here and there for cheap
as I'm repeating often - if present manufacture, I'm not looking further than Sonido; even with ( unavoidable) rise of prices in last few years, still best bang for the buck around
if I need to put any EQ cell in front of FR driver, it's outa my sight; enough those not needing the same
though - if you got (any) Lowther for cheap, I can only green; play with them but expect wonders only if augmented with proper bass driver
except if wanting to use them as 'puter desk speakers, then feel free to build full range box
Is that when Jerry Seinfeld sarcastically welcomes his neighbor by saying «Hello, Newman…»?ever heard of Newman compensation?
Yeah that seems to be the recipe Pa likes.though - if you got (any) Lowther for cheap, I can only green; play with them but expect wonders only if augmented with proper bass driver
I have my baffles that I use the 15” AE Dipole woofers on the bottom with his B5. I’m doing a bit of a renovation on them.
I’ve had fantastic results with Lii Audio and the Sonidos on them.
Frustrating that I can only use one speaker at a time on the top!

I only have so many rooms I can try different systems in 😢
This morning they look like this
The bass seems it’s coming from a subwoofer with these enclosures.
The soundstage was good already with the small enclosures, with the mltl it gained something more in the vertical plane.
Now it’s time for some music. My back had enough for these days 🙂
Edit:

Edit:
Yes but not sure how soon it will happen though I said the same thing some time ago when I started to look for the drivers. Didn’t imagine that everything will go ahead so fast.
A big thanks for everything !
A big thanks for everything !
At the moment using an hybrid crossover, done with components I had on hand following CPA12 schematic.. will also try to implement this above xover in due time..So you didn’t add a parallel cap to this resistor and a limiting lpad like here?

Is the series resistance value of 8,2R resistor + 1mH inductor resistance known? i.o.w. should this sum be 8,2R or 8,7R or more?
You've been very fast indeed, you almost beat me to it! 😀Yes but not sure how soon it will happen though I said the same thing some time ago when I started to look for the drivers. Didn’t imagine that everything will go ahead so fast.

not that critical
judging by pics, Rdc of that choke is in range of few 00 of mOhm
Sch can measure that, but wrestling with DMM residual ..... who cares
