How do those sound, Matt? I always wondered what kind of bass those 7" dayton aluminum woofers put out....
The daytons are suprisingly good for bass, and the overall system is quite accurate sounding, not super laid back, more in your face accuracy, which is perfect for monitors, and exactly what they were designed for. The bass is quite fun 🙂

I have those Dayton 7" midbass in my car's kickpanel. They handle good power and have really nice tight midbass. Very good for the money.
Well I seem to have these 25 year old little guys hanging around. Note the rubber surrounds. They still sound fine, and used to sound great in the back of my brothers Pinto. I think they acted as some sort of fireguard or something. No problems with that car.

They're Dayton 5 1/4" with the PT2 Planars.
