Looks very pro.My speakers. They are designed on my request by Tony Gee. I built them myself. I've been listening to them for almost two years now and I decided to sell them because I would like to build something else.

Very good job. What were the drivers used? The tweeters look like HiVi.
Sound beastly!
Finally got to putting a finish on these monitors i made months ago.
im no good with finishing so took the easy option with some wrap
text book 20 litre cabs
dayton tweeters
peerless woofers
really impressed with the sound and how low they go!

Looks ........ different, I like them..

I was looking at those mids and tweets a while back.
How did they sound?
Curious to see what you do next. Those look like they sound nice!
Well I hate using the words "High End" but I sure can say they are very, very good. The remark from Dr_EM about vertical dispersion is right.
I like that honesty; not because you need anything better or these have any issues, but just want to build something new 😀
They look fantastic and I'm sure your new build will be top quality, look forward to seeing it 🙂 . I use those tweeters myself, very good transient response but the limited vertical dispersion can be a bit restrictive. Are the woofers sealed?
Thanks 🙂 Yes it is a complete sealed system.

Drivers are HiVi RT2C, Peerless 6,5 mid-woofers. (funny, I saw these are also sold as 7"…) and two Dayton RS270-8 woofers.
Looks very pro.
Thank you. That was my intention. Tony Gee did a fine job!
Might as well add to the "speaker porn"

Your 3 way towers are looking good! Your tweeter is the slimmer version of what I used in the first pic. Those were my first venture into planars & ribbon tweeters. Personally it's hard to go back to dome units.
have you heard other audax mids? My pr170 is one of the best mid Ive heard. Me think audax is quality stuff!I'm a big fan of the Aerogel units...thanks for the kind words guys!

Yea, I have other Audax units in the waiting, a couple paper cone HM130G's, carbon coned HM130C's, as well as other Aerogels and some older Polydax NOS drivers with the TPX cones. I haven't heard the PL170's but could imagine they are quite nice.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Your English are fine 🙂
Isn't awesome when you have a dedicated basement audio room?
Here's my basement, yours looks way more "tidy" though 😱

Yes, usually clarity with tone - a rare combination. 🙂 (..you can go further with this sound quality combination with foam and foil Gorlich drivers.)
..and also yes, a wide body of excellent design and execution - reminds me of Dan Neubecker. 🙂

@Konstantin; yes, it was a long way to the dedicated listening room. But is it easier, because my wife is great music fan. 🙂
Tidiness is not a problem - I'm a german 😀😀😀
I see, you owns also a Transrotor Player, or? Compliments! Please, write more to your setup!
@mhouston, thanks for flowers 😉
