Keep in mind that the Modushop chassis has side rails to hold the heatsink together, so you will lose this space. I would suggest to do as per still4given or rotate 90 degrees.

I have that in mind. Each rail measures 1cm, that gives only 10cm of usable space. So, do you think it's doable?
Tnak you.
Fuse holders - Pinnocchio
Pinnocchio, Do yo happen to have the part number for the fuse holders as shown on your amp boards in post #1184?

Yes if you use higher standoff end bend the legs. Look at pictures 6-7 of my b24 build, you will see I had the same challenge... So totally doable

I centered my board first and attached it to the heatsink, then I installed the output transistors, mark the holes, drilled/tap, secure the transistors with pad in place and finally soldered everything.

Hi George,
I believe those were the ones, I had to cut the plastic pin under to fit them.

Just beware that that type of fuse clip is only about 6A due to the thin metal contacts and limited contact surface.

Hey you copycat! Same chassis as mine! 😀 😀
I'm sure you will love this amplifier. Right now I'm using mine with dual PSU but I'm stacking two 500VA transfos and it causes some noise so I will have a custom made PSU from SumR shortly.
Show us some pictures!

Dual Mono. Nice! I was thinking of that.. Maybe next time..
The chassis looks good.. I think I'll go with a light in front, as well..
All my pieces should arrive, next week..

That's a nice chassis. I need to look into it since my machining
skills are non-existent.
Do you mind my asking how much taxes and brokerage DHL charged?
Thanks,
Dennis

Is it mechanical or electrical ( hum) noise?
You might want to try wiring the primaries so the radiated fields cancel.

Hi Bonsai,
It is not mechanical, with 500VA per toroid were not even asking much of each transformers. I have plans to replace those transformers but how would you wire them? Right now they're on top of each others but with both wire side together (one transformer normal and the other upside down so that all wires reach properly. They're Antek transformers so not the best but ok.
Ciao!

I have the exactly same size chassis, from China too, and I'm doing dual-mono with two 600VA Antek transfoes. I understand why "pinnocchio" stacked his power trans -- not enough room in depth for two when a power switch and an IEC socket are in place. So I built a deck to raise the transformers and clear the interference. The deck is quite simple to build, one piece of angle aluminum each bolted on the inside of the front and back panel, then a piece of aluminum plate rest on the angles with a couple of supporting blocks placed midway along the span. ......Just in case it's useful for someone.
