The Basics, standard, original kit contains:
-2 PCB's,
-4 VFETS, (2 of each type)
-2 drilled and anodized aluminum brackets
-the bolts and lock washers to attach the brackets to a chassis or heatsink (either a diyAudio one with M3 holes already drilled and tapped, or another you supply or make)
- 28g thermal grease, (for between the bracket and chassis and for active device insulators)
-Bolts nuts and washers and insulators required to attach both the TO-3 VFETs and the MOSFETS(not included) to the PCB and the bracket.

I understand the kit to include some TO-3 mounting hardware & goop.

The Basic kits are very close to complete. We're waiting on one part and that should arrive tomorrow or Monday. Then they need the final packaging and shipping to our fulfillment center who mails them out to you. So you will be able to pay in the coming week I think, and they should arrive a week later. This will also be affected by whether 6L6 will finish his test amp and give the go-ahead, based on how it works!
I'm doing the SuppleMental Kit research but it took a while to get the parts count done and I'm having a bit of trouble finding all the parts and then matching the JFETS! This shows that getting parts is a PITA to get done, so the SuppleMental Parts Kit will be well worthwhile in time savings and shouldn't cost more than ordering the parts yourself. They should include all additional transistors needed for the PCB populating including matched JFETs, resistors, capacitors, pots, diodes, regulators, LED, etc as required but no chassis connectors, wires, PSU parts.. There is a back panel connector product in the store for the diyAudio chassis' .
I should be able to confirm availability of all parts and prices soon enough that when you order and pay for a basic kit you can also order the suppleMental kit, which unfortunately will take about 6-8 weeks to arrive, as it too will require ordering parts, packaging, matching JFETS, shipping to the order fulfillment place, etc.
There's no Parts List or BOM yet right? In any case my list, derived from the schematic, is in spreadsheet form and will be available to all to use. Hopefully Nelson will get back to me on my questions soon.

If there is the option to have the suplemental kit without the input jfets then it would be nice, as some around here already have a stash of those around for these projects.
I know that making many different options might be difficult though.

Thanks for the detailed responses. Content to wait for the supplemental kits to be completed.
I doubly appreciate the time and effort all of y'all are putting not this kit.

If it's been thrown out there, I must have missed it. What will be cost for the Essentials and Supplemental components of the kit?
No cost projections at this point. We have reserved stuff so far. Might be everyone does not buy what they reserve when the time comes. I'm sure there is a line for unpurchased stuff.
Thank You
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Jason, Variac, Nelson and anyone else involved in this. What you are doing is very selfless and puts a big smile on so many peoples faces. You are all full of awesome sauce!
Cheers

I have emailed all reserved + waitlist subscribers a confirmation email so you can feel assured you are properly registered. Please check your inbox and add contact@diyaudiostore.com to your address book. If it's not there, check your spam folder, and mark it as not spam. If it's in your promotions tab, drag it back over to your primary inbox. That way you can be sure the next email you get (from contact@diyaudiostore.com) will get straight into your inbox.
When they finally are available for sale, we'll be holding and double checking every order to make sure it matches the reservation list so nobody has to worry about missing out. If you have a confirmed reservation you will get a chance to buy a kit.
I've also added a new question at the bottom of the form to allow people to specify a preference (no guarantee) for purchasing only VFETs, only PCBs, only brackets or any combination of those. For those that are ordering 2 sets, you can specify if you would like 4 pairs of matched dual transistors by themselves - this is something we may be able to offer but again no guarantees. We'll do what we can 🙂
Hi Jason,
Could you resend another confirmation mail please...I somehow manage to lost it while drag it to primary inbox.😱

When you drag it to the primary it will not be on the top of the mail list, but rather along the mail from the date is was received - that it July 2nd. Check there maybe.
Totally off-topic, but here is my planned output stage mounting scheme for the flexible CSX/VFET projects. The goal was to avoid the cost of the angled extrusion as nearly anyone will CnC a piece of flat stock. I am not sure how well it will work, but we will see. It's mounted to a Conrad Heatsink in the photo through a piece of copper bar. I need to get properly sized teflon tubing for the TO-3 pins and screws and I think I am ready for some fireworks.

Hi Jason,
I have the original email that I'm currently looking at that asked for confirmation where I confirmed the registration on Wed 6/15/2016 12:30 AM and got the message of registered and how to edit etc. However, I do not have a subsequent email in relation to your post above. Nothing in the junk/spam folder, or the folder that holds emails from the threads I follow either.
Not sure if it is related, but on a side note, I had not logged into my diy store account since the conversion and when trying to log in the system did not recognize my email or password. I tried to re-register and when I did, it pulled up my old shipping information but all of my order history from the store was gone.

Nelson: I see that you removed the cascode feedback in the DIY SONY VFET draft article. Did you retain the cascode transistors because of the higher than "normal" 28V rails, or was there another reason.
heat-sink
I was wondering if one of such a heat-sink is sufficient for one channel or we will need more cooling?
