Something to lighten the mood

Not a particularly funny post.

Here's a funny post:

Yes, perhaps it's better known as a lamp post.
But I must ask, who's "Leaning On A Lamp Post" and ready to "Feather Your Nest"?
Maybe these friendly folks from the good ol' days.... but maybe not at 78 rpm anymore.

Uneducated cretins. Can’t spell real words like standard so they rely on common speak. Not skilled or talented in anything important so they resort to singing for a living.
I rest my case.
Next you’re going to tell me you don’t put your food scraps in the comstandard. And you don’t take your letters to the standard office.

Apologies to George Formby, it wasn’t his fault. He had rich parents.

Yesterday I was sanding some bits square, but they were just never right, I then tested my set-square - shortly afterwards it flu across the room at high speed. Similar to when I used a piece of steel angle whilst gluing a pair of speakers, never presume anything is square.
I did test the set-square when I bought it.

Eons ago, I kept noticing that every time I set up a shelf or put up a picture, they never looked quite level even though the level said so...

So, I bought a new level. A four foot wood and metal frame. Compared them... the old one was out of whack!

Turns that at some point I had dropped the old level... one of them metal 4 foot jobs. And after that... you got it, it got tweaked. So, it got tossed.

My family owns quite a large parcel of land. Out in the back 40, there's a pond and some nice fruit trees. I hadn't been down their for a while so I grabbed a bucket and went to get some apples. When I got there I noticed three young ladies skinny dipping in the pond. They saw me and swam to the other side. Mister they said, we aint gettin' out till you leave! I said ladies, I didn't come down here to see you skinny dipping, I just came down to feed the alligators.
