Same island, same day. The final shot is the barge and tug boat ferry to get you onto the island. I was on the island looking back at the mainland.

Doesn’t look too big.....was it ever owned by a single family? It looks very sparsely populated like it’s been ‘kept in the family’

Back in Portsmouth, that stupid pigeon was back for more Plum blossom. A juvenile, I think. The Bumblebee was flying into the room in occasional confusion.

I thought the shape of muzzle (thicker, longer, less conical) said "sheep". But maybe I'm the goat. 😱
Taylor Swift sings badly without Autotune (there's lots of evidence online), but that goat/sheep seems to have plenty of vocal power, sustain, and excellent pitch. 🙂
Thanks for the farm pics - there is something calming and healing about animals, something we humans lost when our brains became big enough to be constantly lost in thought, most of it utterly useless. 🙂

Near the Golden Ears bridge? I didn't know there was a farm on it. I've seen it across the water from Surrey Bend regional park, and while driving over the bridge to Maple Ridge.
I'll have to visit that farm one day, when the Coronavirus pandemic is behind us. If the farm owners survive the financial hit.

My wife loves rabbits. She spent time on a ranch where they had some.
Sort of gets bad though when the neighbours adopted a nice eating bunny and they just played with it.

Yes, Gnobuddy, keep going down the road beyond the bend parking lot and wait for the light to welcome you onto the ferry. The island is about 10 km's around and is much more than than one farm.
There's no need to wait, you don't have to even roll down your car window to get to the island. There's about 100 people living there but you might not see even one. The perimeter road takes about 30 minutes the way I drive.
