Sadly no, it wasn't really a fair comparison. 😱
I do remember seeing the 12" Visaton measuring very well below 30 Hz before (from one of the two major German mag.s). (..though my memory could be "rose-tinted".) 😛

We should not forget that those are different test setups. I would be very careful comparing THD measurements done by different people. So indeed very different drivers measured on different benches 🙂
It would be fair to compare SB34NRXL with speakers same by size and application. 32W/4878T00 for example? Okay, Revelator is the next!

Here is TIW300 and other two 12inch woofers.

It would be interesting to see comparison of T00-subwoofer and T01-woofer versions.

No, the measurement I'm thinking of was from Hobby HiFi or Klang + Tong, and I'm pretty sure it was measured on a DAAS system.
(..and was also aware of this one above as well.)
-btw, you could get two of these for not a lot more than one SB 12":

Of course, and I can get three of:-btw, you could get two of these for not a lot more than one SB 12":

Peerless SLS 830669 - 12" Woofer - Coated Paper Cone
at lower cost than for one SB34NRXL too[emoji846]
..pff, I'll "see" your 830669 and "raise" you with DSA 315-8! 😀
(kidding aside), that's one you really should measure. 😉

Thanks HiFicompass!
Looking at SB34NRXL75-8 Vs ScanSpeak 32W/4878T01, I declare the SB winner!
SB34NRXL75-8 advantages:
- HALF the price
- Better sensitivity/impedance ratio
- Better on and off axis frequency response below 1khz
- Better step/waterfall
- THD+N is close, but SB looks cleaner to me, and also keeps H3/4/5 lower as level increases. Only concern is this 750Hz peak on the SB, which suggests one should cross at max ~400Hz. (on the ScanSpeaker this peak is 6dB less and happens 50Hz higher)
If I can afford, I ll go for this SB for my next build.

Any chance you could test a cheap PA woofer, specifically dayton pa380(15") or pa460 (18")? I might go for a push pull using 2 times pa460 for my next 3 way build.
I have a pair of PA460 but to test them I need to make a new large size test baffle. My current test baffle can take up to 15" speakers only. Don't know when I can manage to get a new baffle.Any chance you could test a cheap PA woofer, specifically dayton pa380(15") or pa460 (18")? ..when making an IEC Test baffle:
"Surely a 15" insert is going to be more than enough for all my tests!" 🙂
-until it isn't.. 😱 😛
(..same for 18". ..and then you eye that 21" from Precision Devices, or their 24".) 😉
..and then there is that crazy Fostex woofer. 😀

Good drivers, as expected of a Scan-Speak Revelator and Bliesma. There might be more compelling options out there for both units, this thread has spent some time on one such option for the Scan. DSA315 would still be a nice comparison in terms of T/S-parameters.
As for the T25A, it brings super-wide off-axis response into the top octave with excellent distortion performance. The 60 degree off-axis extends clear beyond 20k - incredible! But the T25B seems mostly superior, sensitivity is higher with smoother on-axis and still wide top octave. That could be a simple unit issue, but the datasheet shows that as well. It is also much cheaper than T25B, but so is the nice SB26ADC from SBA.
The measurements of the ScanSpeak 26W/8861T00 woofer have been updated:
