I have see that you have add capacitor to C142 270khz filtr yes? What have you add and what changes it will make?
DAM1201 v3 seems to be out (new photos in Soekris's site)
J3 pins header is different than V2 (on V3 there is J11)
where I can found pins description of V3 ?

The picture you are seeing on soekris.eu is one of an old prototype, not of V3. I have not heard of any changes in the headers between V1 - V2 - V3.
By the way - the vref caps should be fine at 6.3v +-20%, since they are at the output??
I just wonder because then there is 6.3mm caps with 0.45mm leads that i was thinking about trying. 4x560uF per rail.

Where, I don't see it. Only see .05% resistor version.
Thanks.
nige your inbox is full. Thank you very much for your reply which was worth more than hours of reading and searching for comparisons, you made my choice vanish.
12VDC in?
I just assembled this LT3032 PSU from diyinhk as proposed by Hifiduino. It measures +12VDC between + and GND on each side.

Is this the correct way to connect it to the DAM1021 in?

Hopefully it is just a typo in your picture, it is supposed to be +12 and -12
Look at Hifiduino´s picture

I think you have the wrong power supply. It should be one like this : 0.8uV Ultralow noise DAC power supply regulator +-9/12/15V 1.5A*x2 - DIYINHK

No!

It says "LT3032 Low noise DAC power supply linear regulator Dual +-12V 150mAx2" so should be OK.

You have a *dual* board. This means that you have 2 times +/-12 volt.
So you only need to use one of this 3 outlet blue terminal instead as you draw both of them.
Now, as the web page don't supply a real drawing and no schema this is a bit hard to tell but I can see even on the silk screen text on the board near one of the terminals the this says "+/- 12 Volt" and that all you need.

That helped!
Thanks. That helped! I have music now. Seems the noise floor is better than before when I just had a trafo. But the sound is also more aggressive or 'in your face'. Not so laid back.

Well time to check over the rest of the system. Maybe your aggressive "thing" is not in the DAC but elsewhere and using a "soft" DAC was "good"...

PS. I think you are probably a bit to humble in your "don't know much" statement....

Yeah, diyinhk might have some good stuff and reasonably priced, but it comes with absolutely no assembly instructions or schematics. Nothing to download on his website either.

In a "xyz implementation" thread, discussing individual builds is not OT. I rather discuss it here then on PM thank you 😉
