Cool install I’ve seen those polk momos before. one of the only shallow mount 15s ever made with nice xmax too. What did you think of them?
I loved them! I left them in the truck when I donated the truck to Kars4Kids.

The brake line busted when I was about to pull the truck into the garage to pull the engine and replace all the freeze plugs due to a coolant leak between the transmission and engine block. I wasn't about to drop the gas tank too. Tho', I did it in the past to replace the fuel pump.

Glaxzarthewonderer is equally cool.

I just purchased all the components from CDT for the install. The only thing left to decide is the midrange. I’ll probably go with RAW-CAT advice and pick up the faital pro full ranges. Still don’t know which impulsively bought subwoofers I’ll use.

It seems If you’re going to incorporate both sides of the driver in a ‘parallel 1/4 wave’ resonator pipe (Bose wave cannon) that relies on a shared harmonic for its rising rate and ‘efficiency’ you’re kinda stuck in a window of opportunity or a big phase issue (and ringing) forms at 3 x Fb . (Mess around in horn response with resonators that aren’t 3:1 in tuning /length)

I’m Not sure if this video is a related example, but it’s intersting ? Using shared mechanical and electrical resonaces in this case?

I think That’s where people have been disappointed with these in the past .

Fb suffers greatly if severely overdamped (or the drivers used have less motorforce than assumed by advertised TS parameters)

I screwed up my first two paraflex in a similar way . It had a weak bottom end from a long skinny resonator , then those very easily excited higher frequency resonances were just annoying and ‘loud’
