Oh cool....so a case of laying it out on a piece of plywood.....what are your thoughts, components glued into place? Or cable straps? Did you mention recessing one side for wiring? I think it might be best, simplest to do that on the component side too....
I won't have the parts for another half a month.
I know, do you want to leave it till then....then? 😉
Help me figure it out instead of making silly jokes 😀
Is that some bizarre Flemish beverage?![]()
I just don't know if it's Welsh or walish or Walsh or welish or whatever it is.
Prynhawn da (Good afternoon) Here's a suggested layout. I've put the two smaller coils on edge (apparently it means they're less likely to interact with each other)
I hope it meets with madam's approval 😉🙂
Distance almost never matters but orientation does. I'll do orientation 🙂 thanks buddy 🙂
Croesor ( you're welcome) I'm off outside to play now, it's a beautiful day here....catcha later..............
I'm at the movie theatre. Wish I could be outside.

You could do that but I don't see much point TBH, the components would need to be secured to the board anyway
He he, it would be neater and probably easier to solder the way you suggest. Clean on top.....dirty underneath....

It's been a couple of years since I went to the cinema, it was very loud and the sound was crap, but I expected it and went prepared with ear plugs! I have tinnitus and I have to protect myself from loud noise, it makes it worse......ho, hum.....🙁
Maybe.....I think it's just one of those things...I've had it for about 5years but protected myself before then, but who knows the damage may already have been done. Look after your ears..but I think you know that 🙂
