OS: I haven't bought parts, so how much longer are you gona TWEAK! G.R.H.
The original spook with it's hawksford is almost the same as if you swapped
the symetri VAS.
Symetri VAS is a little slower (slew-rate) than the hawksford , but clips
better. The tradeoffs are nearly equal.
The symetri VAS would be better for an EF2 (lower Z).
I found the original VERY good , until I swapped to the K-ND and symasui.😀

Hi Andrew,
I just looked over my Spooky and there are a couple things you need to know. There are two jumper wires that are not used and a long wire added from A to A. I have marked in red the jumpers used and X'd out the ones that should not be used on the attached silk screen.
Blessings, Terry

I'm testing the monster now.
This thing really sings with ~80v rails. 😀
Thanks for another great amp Os! The Badger will live on in the television stereo. 😉
It looks great, Thanks for sharing☺
What do you use for protection circuit?

Thanks, I don't have any protection yet. Living on the edge. 😛
Hello 🙂
I need and advice I'm about to adjust the CCS on the Wolverine can some one give me an approximation on R4 value measurement a "close enough value" before I power up 🙂
Set it so you read 3.6V across R10.

Beautiful! But no protection... 🙄 ... scary 😱 🙂
I think I have more fun designing a new protection circuit for every amp I build than the rest of the project.😀
YES jwilhelm very true with protection peace of mind still stuck on protection

OS: Is there a power supply circuit board for the SPOOKY? Is there a protection relay board for the output? What about clipping indicators? It would be great to have all that in one circuit board (wish-wish). I have high efficiency horns and I want to protect them from DC offsets. Thanks, Ray
Is it possible to increase the gain on the spooky?
My dac only have 1v output so I can not take out the full potential of the amp.

Sounds like you need a preamp. http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/analog-line-level/272915-pitchfork-pre-amplifier-13.html#post4306134 This is Ostripper's design
Good evening,
I'm getting boards for a stereo Slew/KND set (thank you very much evanc) and I'm filling my basket at mouser's with parts. This was when I realized that the stated 2SC3503/2SA1381 is obsolete. Many say the variants with the K-prefix are substitutes but mouser only has different grades for them. Is this going to be a problem? The grades are D for the *SC* and E for the *SA*.
Is there another alternative?

wow ! Wolverine is alive and the SlewMaster Mini surprise me a lot for been so small amp sound like a big amp wow ! amazing sound all so clear in Spanish, "suena muy bien" = sound really good 😀
I was able to adjust the CCS to 3.6V across R10 reading no problem 🙂 I made a mistake at first to be honest on the SlewMaster Mini I switch Q101 and Q102 and burn R106 smoked well is ok is part of the learning process jejejejeje I fix the problem and is all good now, 😀 but wow I'm so happy with the results
