Slewmaster - CFA vs. VFA "Rumble"

South of the "river" then
Alcacer Do Sal, yes.
Despite some inconveniences, my brain witch refuse to learn fast enough the elegant language, complicated and meddlesome administrations, dishonest Internet and phone providers, high priced AC power... I'm in love with this country and the people here. Oh, man, if all humans were so gentle, simple and hospitable, helpful and cheerful, earth should be a Paradise.
It is a pity such a beautiful people have to suffer so much from a crisis they are not responsible of. I admire their solidarity, courage and dignity.
And the beauty of the country, its landscapes, villages and houses, that is not a coincidence.

30 years + of power/easy money orientated governments do take some of it's beauty, yes. However you've chosen well 🙂 It's true the majority of us will do the best to make you feel @home...glad to "have" you in OUR country 😉
Ps. Happy Portugal' day

I wonder ,is it ok using RN55 1/8w resistors for Wolverine IPS and OPS except those different mentioned?
The working voltage for C7,C5 WHEN power supply is +/-50v?
What you prefer for C3,220uf NP ,or 470uf NP Muse?

Bing shows "Ponta do Sol, Madeira Island" VERY beautiful island.

Would rather fill my mind with this beauty than fuss over "bad players" .😉
What a contrast , my jungle to the coast. Rocky coasts are the best (below)
.. with a free car wash !

Very beautiful post to start the morning OS. I have friends from Brazil, of course they speak Portuguese, a very sing song language, very different than Spanish which I hear all the time. I have wanted to head to South America for a long time, one of these days. I love the Jungle, spent weeks in the back country of Hawaii, nothing like it. Some day I would love to visit Esperado, I think he has the right idea. Get me out of Southern California, way to many people here even if I can drive to the beach, mountains or desert all within an hour at most away. At least I live in the Hills above the city, not down in the heart of it all.

So after the back and forth do we feel that the zip file is OK to send to the board house? I got the name of the supplier that jkuetemann used for the previous boards and am thinking they did a good job in the past so would expect the same again.

Yes , better to build something .... even outside. Comments on the bits and bytes
are so inconsequential. The real world is priority.
A distasteful comment in the virtual world should not ruin a day ?
I'll be busy on symetri , any questions on the big OPS - please forward to me.

... I'll be busy on symetri ...

Symetri sounds interesting. What you've talked about so far sounds very much like what Morris Kessler has put into his new Signature line of amplifiers. The late James Bongiorno had a hand in the design as well. Morris says his Signature product is the best amplifier that he has ever crafted. Many have agreed.

symetri is strange .....

weird how it works -

feedback correction is directly applied to the VAS.

The VAS is just an extended beta enhanced input pair.

So , you are not listening to the VAS - but directly to the input pair.
-Supply ripple is just about fully cancelled (below 1) - beats even the spook.
-Clipping is clamped fully like the Kypton's , and the gain and margins
will make for "rock solid" stability. (below 2)
Just 10 BJT's - by far the best simplicity to performance !
This might be the best subwoofer IPS out there !

PS - this thing works like a big "blowtorch" line stage that can
do 120V p-p ! Same physics in play - different from all the others (not cascoded).
Cancellation is a direct shunt instead of through a folded cascode (blowtorch).
