Hello Tho,
In december i will bring your Lundahl chokes!
So you will busy today!!

Very nice transformers! Are these custom made for you? Were they expensive, if you don't mind asking me?

@eduard: I'm waiting... and nice to meet you in Viet Nam!
@jan.didden: this is not custom made, just a popular model of Tango, they made for solid state amps. I bought from Japan. A little expensive for me, kaka!

Hello Tho,
I think you bought it from FRANCE. There was a pair for sale a few years ago.
I miss cafe phin from Vietnam. lol

My friend shipped from Japan and I really don't know the past of it🙂
I will give to you 1kg good cafe😉

Yes we know in France this original Jean Hiraga Némésis version with Tango.
Interesting build project congratulation Nagini262 and after that you can probably try Pass Sit-1 OTL version

Hello Soundhappy,
I did send my friend in Viet Nam a copy of the introduction article of this Tango for the Nemesis ( on en parle).
I did see a pair secondhand on Melaudia but he wanted to exchange for other transformers. You dont see them many times. In my cataloque from Tango they are not even listed.
Greetings, eduard
P.s you use theses amps?

Hello Eduard & Nagini
Photos show just for historical ( not my amps ) and hope inspiring in new builds.
Transistor attached to chassis was the only "heat sink" used and all was make with point-to-point technique.
Jean Hiraga bring them from Japan to France for sell few kit's in 80's " old good days".
Némésis is ancient Greek Divinity name , interesting to know who she are.
Best regards

"+ The first: a great man gave to me one pair of PASS SIT 1 VFET transistor."
hahaha, that can be only one great man, we all know 😀😱🙂
Or MR or ZM 😀

Hello,
At that time i wanted to build that amp but did not have high effeciency drivers so after buying the power transistors i did stop buying parts.
But i used the choke from the Nemesis in my Hiraga 30 watt amp.
I think at that time there were some very good diy amps on the market. No internet just books, magazines, real shops and real people. No avatars.
No fake parts on ebay, shinkoh tantal resistors for 1,25$ ( but that was considered expensive for a resistor at that time), no paper, silver, gold, oil, cryogenic processed caps just some caps that were better than others.
Greetings, Eduard

Treasure Pass Sit-1 that need smart Mr Rothacher heat sink solution with screws adapters so Nagini can play more fun game
and compare sound from other topologys as well maybe ?

@ Eduard
Yes " La Maison de L'Audiophile " is sadly just souvenirs today but we have happyly DiyAudio Forum
and for real meetings "Melaudia" folks and European Triode Festival and possibly we can meet Mr Hiraga himself.
Many amplifiers builds make live this legend and Némésis Pass Sit-1 is the very great one.
Yeah crazy about high-fidelity in healthy way
@ Nagini262
Good luck in your build(s)
Best regards

@soundhappy: thanks for your ideas! I was think I will build the PASS SIT 1 transistors with output capacitors (try to find Rubycon Black Gate 10000uF or Audio Note KaiSei 10000uF/63VDC) but now I have FG-50S so I will build SIT Nemesis😛
I will choose the best parts for this amp:
+ Plitron transformer, Audio Note KaiSei capacitor, Lundahl choke and Cree SiC rectifier in the power supply.
+ I apply ZEN V3 active regulation too🙄
+ Replace input capacitor with 600:600 input transformer😎

Probably you know schematic of Sit Nemesis revisiting published in Linear Audio Magazine ?

Thanks soundhappy! I built Arch Nemesis and Ironamp, both have a very good sound and I know the quality of parts are very important so I will get best parts for this amp.
The name Ironamp became cause: input transformer, VFET TO-3 case and output transformer. The PASS SIT 1 with TO-247 case so I think it's just some modify from origin SIT Nemesis for better sound because I have no best input capacitor. My target for input transformer is Tango NN-6 or NN-600-600 with Permalloy core😛
