Need help. Mount mini reg. Removed l5 and l9. Cable to both reg from 8v. Power up and screen shows 00 and motor no movement at all. Please help

Thank you for being patient with me. Finally I manage to attach pic here. I hope it is not to huge for viewing. Sorry for the mess up too.
This transport works perfectly until I read the V3 and V4 in btw page 5 and 7 regarding the huge improvement. So I might as well give it a go. I unplug all cables from the main board, except the screen cable. As shown in picture 1 I removed L5 and L9. Solder the mini reg and add on cables to power up.
As a result, no movement on the motor at all. Screen shows '00'. I pressed all button but also no movement at all.
As Tibi mention to measure, I tried a fast one before go to work, it shows very slow reading. I will measure again. To confirm, black to middle of the mini reg pin, and red to both left and right for reading rite?

How PSU is 8V and J6 3V ?????
Which ground point are you using for measure ?

Sorry. Is 7.74. I was using v2 groud pin at measure 3.0v. 7.74 now using digital out ground pin.
In this case all voltages are OK.
You need to check cabling and a possible short after your soldering.

I check from pcb pins and to cable far end (soldering) point and all contacted. The ribbon too all contected. I am using my meter with a signal indication. I press the remote but nothing too: all buttons. Keep showing 00.

Hi Tibi. Just want to confirm with u that the smaller cable from pcb to screen. He 3 cable types. Does all 3 contacted or only 2. 1 has no contact here.
